In 2021 Ryan moved west across the country to the SF Bay Area to achieve the American dream. Travelling with a wife, child, and dog, he realized more financial savvy than ever was required to be successful. He started this blog to learn and grow in this new journey.

Ryan is a father, a veteran, and personal finance geek. After returning from a deployment to Afghanistan in 2014 he completed the remainder of his military contract before going back to school in Virginia. He has a B.S. in Economics from George Mason University and is pursuing an MBA from UC Berkeley.
